Moving your WordPress blog to Shopify? PLEASE don’t just copy the articles over and delete the old site. I’ve seen migrations destroy years of SEO work because nobody thought about redirects, URL changes, images and most importantly... How to migrate without LOSING the EXISTING Google rankings. Your blog might have hundreds of pages already generating organic traffic. Those rankings are an ASSET. And a bad migration can wipe them out very very quickly. The good news? You absolutely CAN move an established WordPress blog to Shopify without starting your SEO from scratch. We put together a step-by-step guide showing exactly how I’d approach it, including: → What needs to be migrated → How to preserve your SEO data → How to handle your images → How to import everything into Shopify → What to check before and after the migration If you’re planning a WordPress → Shopify migration, read this BEFORE touching anything. Let me know if you have any other questions! :)
