How we keep them at their best.

If you’ve got an older dog whose needs are starting to stack up… you’ll know that staying ahead of it is everything. Reggie is my oldest dog. And with age comes a lot of… management. He deals with seasonal allergies. Every year, without fail, the itching starts. His skin flares up. He chews his paws. You can see how uncomfortable it makes him. But it’s not just his skin. His joints need support too. His teeth. At his age, it all starts to layer on top of itself. What I’ve learned with Reggie is that you have to get ahead of it. The allergies don’t announce themselves with much warning… so nettle is something I have ready before the season hits. Keeping his joints and teeth in good shape is just part of his daily routine now. It’s not complicated. It’s just paying attention to what he needs and meeting him there. For some dogs, that’s a lot of things at once. For Reggie… it is. But he’s worth it.
