Pleasure & intimacy have been in the shadows for too long. Pleasure is so powerfully positive for our well-being and our relationships. But like a hangover from previous generations, misinformation, stigma and shame are preventing delight and closeness for so many people. Research can move us into the light. Without facts, myths tend to fill in the gaps. It’s only when we look at the experiences of thousands of people that the real patterns emerge. Taboos and stigmas limited funding for that kind of large-scale research - so we did it ourselves - and created OMGYES to make the discoveries practical. A new map of what feels good, what makes us close, and why Partnering with IU and Yale researchers, we asked tens of thousands of women and couples what worked for them. We found shared patterns, creative solutions, breakthrough techniques, and important lessons people often discover the hard way. We publish this new-found range of sexual insights in journals to advance scientific understanding. We provide them for free to clinicians and medical schools. And we present them to the public as fun, binge-worthy videos and animations on OMGYES.com.
