“I have been dealing with severe pitting edema for quite a while now. First, it was because I had SIADH as a result of a medication. I stopped the medication and the edema resolved. Then, I had to start Lyrica. That caused more edema so I had to stop that as well. I take 40 mg of Lasix every day in the morning and 20 milligrams in the afternoon with potassium. I have tried many different types and brands of compression stockings and I have great difficulty putting them on because I have a very rare disease called Stiff Person Syndrome. It is disabling and it has caused my calf muscle pumps to stop working properly, which is why I have the edema. I bought these Onecompress sleeves because they popped up on a social media ad and I thought it would be worth a shot. I am so glad I ordered them. They are super easy to put on. I do wear them a little bit higher up on my foot so that they go a little bit higher up on my calf. I love the open toe design because I can wear my house flip-flops and they help cushion my joints a little bit. Regular shoes are very uncomfortable right now due to the severity of the edema that I have been dealing with. In the video, you can see the extent of my edema. In the second picture, you can see the way I wear the compression garments. In the third picture, you can see how much better my legs and ankles look. This is after only a few days wearing these garments. As a result of my edema, improving, the neuropathy caused by my edema, has also improved. If you are on the fence about ordering, I highly recommend it!” - Evonne Galusha Menzies
