A few extra tips if you try this exercise: • Look for where the body actually makes contact with the chair: feet on the floor, thighs on the seat, back against the rest. Those contact points help sell the weight. • Draw through the forms. Even when parts of the chair disappear behind the body, imagine where they continue. It’ll help keep everything in the same perspective. - And use real references!! Drawing people interacting with objects is one of the best ways to practise characters existing in an actual space.
