Fast carbs + a little protein = steady energy, protected muscle, and no mid-session crash.10/10 would recommend 🤌🏻Recipe (makes 12-14 protein balls):- 250g pitted dates soaked in hot water for 5-10 mins (reserve 2 tosp)- 60g chocolate protein powder- I use @freesoul vegan chocolate protein (FUELWELL to save)- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (around 15g)- 30g peanut butter (or I used 15g peanut butter powder mixed with water)- tbsp date water (add more as you go if too dry)- Pinch of SaltChocolate Coating: - 80g 85% dark chocolate- 1 tsp coconut oil- 30g protein crispies (optional but recommended!! - 1. Add soaked dates, protein powder, cocoa powder, peanut butter, salt and date water into a food processor or blender and blend until a thick sticky mixture forms.- �2. Roll into balls and place in the fridge - 3. Melt your dark choc with 1 tsp coconut oil, add the protein crispies and mix well.- ��4. Dip each protein ball into the chocolate mixture and place in the fridge to set (or freezer if you want them quicker).
