Let’s talk paint and sofa combinations - one of my most-asked questions EVER!

Luckily I’ve teamed up with @loafhome to help you guys create your dream living room scheme with ease, starting with 4 homes I love for their colour schemes, all featuring Loaf sofas (of course).

Which is your favourite?

1. Muted mid-sky blue + Flushed Cheek in The Wodge (velvet) + a pink-based taupe as a complementary neutral
2. Earthy brown pink + Wire Wool in clever velvet + a buttery yellow accent (dreamy)
3. A warm white backdrop + Press Olives in clever velvet + a burnt orange accent
4. Terracotta red + Flushed Cheek in clever velvet + a coral pink accent (trust me)

Homes featured: @lucyalicehome @poppie.clements @alicecatherine

Any questions on how to pair colour, build your living room scheme or decorate your dream home, let me know!

Helping lovely Luke create a cosy, Scandi-inspired, west-facing bedroom design.

When it comes to paint colours my top picks would be: Beige 03, Pink 01 and Beige 01.

When it comes to decorating I want him to colour drench the room in one of those colours, that’s ceiling, walls, woodwork and that radiator. That will make the room feel super relaxing and more designed.

With the styling, don’t forget to add a few fresh green plants and layer those textures, especially linens.

Behind the Design with my sister, @buildbysets , in her converted farmhouse living room and kitchen decorated in peachy Pink 02.

Proof that pink and green should always be seen!

Pink and green are complementary colours - opposite to each other on the colour wheel - and this showcases how they come together perfectly.

The peachy light pink on the walls pairs perfectly with the hunter green across the kitchen cabinets, which extends into the utility.

If you have an open plan space I’d really encourage you to extend your wall colour throughout the whole space then using things like art, rugs and furniture to zone spaces and make them feel cosier and fit for purpose.

The most asked about colour in my consultations? PINK!
It’s powerful, versatile and has the ability to completely change how you feel in a space. From soft dusky tones that cocoon you in calm, to bold saturated pinks that energise and uplift — there’s a pink for every mood and every room.
